North Canterbury Spring Produce


Spring is the time when the gardens come alive in North Canterbury!

Produce that has been dormant or growing slowly over the cooler winter months now begin to flourish and there is produce a plenty to be found at North Canterbury’s local farmers markets.

Local food producers, market gardens, food artisans, fish suppliers, cafes and restaurants all have plentiful spring menus to be tasted and enjoyed.

As the days get warmer and longer, Canterbury wine tasting, wine tours and Waipara winery visits become more popular.
